What do I want to say about me? This is always difficult for me to do. I'm usually the one asking the questions. I want to know who you are. I want to know what you think and how you feel. I want to know how your experience on the planet is going for you. And yes along the way I might share tidbits about myself like I had a pony named Chocolate Drop when I was eight. That I love Canadian geese. That I live by a river that runs through my city.

I might tell you that I work in the healing arts and that if you hurt somewhere or if you want to accelerate your spiritual path I can help you with that. I might offer to go visit your mom when she's in the hospital for breast cancer. And I would of course listen to your stories and maybe try to make you laugh. If we took a walk by the river, I would point out all the places where the marmots live and I might say to you, “After all these years I think I'm ready to get another dog.”

I might say that I prefer a Shiraz over a Merlot, and that I can't understand why people can be so unreasonable not to see the other person's point of view and not just not see it, but not want to see it. And you might see me  puzzled and outraged over war, crime and the small meanesses people perpetrate every day….
